More Than a Game
A lifelong Fort Worth resident, Eric Vance grew up playing a variety of sports — but soccer took him through college. Hockey, however, has always been a constant in his life. From driveway hockey with his dad as a kid, to now sharing the ice with him in adult league play, the game has remained a strong family tradition.
That tradition continues today with his own family. His two sons have transformed part of their home into a knee hockey arena, where competitive games and family time go hand in hand.

21 Years of Service
Currently assigned to West Division patrol on day shift, Sergeant Vance brings experience and leadership to both the Fort Worth Police Department and the Fort Worth Panthers Police Hockey Team.
Sergeant Vance represents the core values of the Fort Worth Panthers — commitment, family, and community both on and off the ice.
The game has remained a strong family tradition — from my dad, to my boys, to me on the ice.
The Fort Worth Panthers are proud to have Sgt. Vance representing our team and our department — on and off the ice. His dedication to service and his family is exactly what this team is built on.
